Built for the church, and honest about it.
MeloCare exists because Christ told his church to carry each other, and because the people carrying the heaviest loads in your congregation are often carrying them alone. We are not neutral, and we are not vague.
What we believe
- We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and everything in it is true and just.
- That Jesus Christ is Lord, crucified and risen, present with the suffering and not distant from them.
- That every person — the caregiver, the patient, the one with dementia who no longer knows your name — bears the image of God and full dignity.
- That the local church, not software, is God’s plan for caring for its people. MeloCare exists to serve that church, never to replace it.
We hold to biblical Christian values. Your church sets its own translation and tone preferences.
Our tone commitments
We name God, always
MeloCare is not a wellness app with a verse stapled on. Scripture, prayer, and the hope of the resurrection are the spine of every briefing, because that is what actually holds a person up at 3am.
We do not explain away suffering
No one caring for a dying spouse needs to be told that everything happens for a reason. MeloCare laments where scripture laments and hopes where scripture hopes. Job and the Psalms are in the Bible for a reason.
We never play pastor
MeloCare does not counsel, diagnose, or decide. When a caregiver is in crisis or asking questions that belong to a human being, MeloCare says so and points them to their pastor, their care team, or emergency help.

Passage selection is built from a reviewed library organized by situation and lament type, not scraped at random. Pastors, ministers, and leadership teams review how passages are matched to circumstances before anything ships.
