MeloCare offers translations that are free of copyright, so your church is never reprinting text it does not have permission to use. Licensed translations — NIV, ESV, NLT, NASB, CSB — require written permission from their publishers, so they are not offered here rather than used quietly.

Where the words come from

• MeloCare draws from a fixed set of 15 passages that were entered and read by a person. It does not search the internet for scripture and has no Bible service to call.
• The AI is never allowed to write, quote, or paraphrase a verse. It can only point to one of those passages, and MeloCare prints the stored wording.
• If a reply contains anything that looks like a verse MeloCare did not supply, it is removed before the family sees it.
• Scripture is offered alongside the practical help. It never replaces it, and it is never used to soften a warning sign that someone should call the clinic.
